Well, it's official Coby has been seen by Dr Kalvier and he begins his "Numenda" treatments today!! The Dr. told Nate and Tiff that he can almost guarantee them result as high as 75% improvement by the end of the third week on Coby being on the medicine. If there isn't that high of an improvement they will adjust the dose at his next appointment. The Doctor said that he is now seeing 1000's of patients around the nation and most of these patients have seen significant results in their austic children. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. However, I do realize that everyone reacts differently to medications.
I am going to be video taping Coby every day or at least every other day during the next three weeks to capture his results. I want to be able to share these results with those other parents that have children with austism and are looking for another option. Please bare with me as I video Coby, I plan to capture him in his natural environment with our normal coaching or interactions! It should be an interesting observation.
